Dublin Array Offshore Wind Farm, Ireland

RWE acquired innogy SE’s 50% stake in the Dublin Array Offshore Wind Farm project in July 2020. Irish company Saorgus Energy, the original developer of the project, owns the remaining 50% stake. RWE are now leading the development on behalf of the strategic partnership.

Dublin Array is located approximately 10km off the coast of Dublin and Wicklow counties in the Irish Sea. The project will have an installed capacity of between 600 megawatts (MW) and 900 MW. The development of Dublin Array represents a further milestone in the creation of sustainable growth options for RWE, and serves to further strengthen RWE's already extensive project pipeline, which includes both onshore and offshore wind projects as well as large solar power plants. RWE will continue to develop this pipeline in accordance with the principles of value retention and will examine partnership and financing options.

Dublin Array has a dedicated project website with a wide range of facts, figures, background and official information on the project.
