Latest Update
In June last year, we outlined our intention to submit a request for a Scoping Opinion from the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU), for a new scheme of 12 turbines on the site, with tip heights of up to 200m. This process has been ongoing and as part of our commitment to engage with the local community regarding these new proposals, we held various public exhibitions to provide the opportunity to view and learn more about the proposals and ask the development team questions.
In light of the Scottish Government’s guidance regarding pre-application consultation, we held both online and in-person events, in the surrounding area of the proposed Lorg Wind Farm site. A project website was also developed, with information regarding the proposals available to view online.
